Welcome Voices is an interactive public art project by Charlotte-based artist Tara Spil, created in partnership with Charlotte SHOUT 2026.

While 157 people move to the Queen City each day, Spil hopes to connect with them, and connect them to the community through this interactive sculpture.

During the months of January - March, Spil will be collecting stories and information from people who are new to Charlotte - as well as advice for them from established residents and natives.
